Reflections on a neglected site

Our family website has been suffering some serious neglect for the last while, a long while really. For my part I didn't pay much attention when Glenn showed me how to log in and update everything, and so I just left it. We got caught up in other pursuits and didn't have much need or want for our website. I am feeling a resurgance in the need for a 'space' for us to play around, list out our hobbies, give our opinions and create a place where our kids can experiment with web design a bit. And so, I figured out how to log on and 'voila!' something is happening around here.

I can't promise any faithfulness, but I like that we can have a blog here, to keep our family updated or even just to journal about our everyday life and the occasional adventure. Even if it is infrequent. It feels like a home away from home, in our home, weird as that sounds.

As for other bits around here, I have this obsession with recipes and trying to keep them organized. It's a bit odd really, but I like it (a lot!) and so I think I will be spending a fair bit of time sorting recipes, hopefully finding some amazing ones along the way. I'm sure Glenn will come up with all sorts of ideas for different pages we can add . . .

And so, here we begin (again.) Wish me luck! And tips on how to add pictures . . .
